World’s first self-driving taxis debut in Singapore


The world’s first self-driving taxis have made it on to the roads of Singapore city on Thursday. The new taxi trail currently consists of a fleet of six cars. For now, the taxis only will run in 2.5-sq mile business and residential district called ‘one-north’ with a human back-up driver and co-pilot for any emergency.
